This energy is used to run these drones during the whole airborne period which could be for weeks, months or even years on end. SkyOrbiter is made to stay in air at an altitude of up to 22,000 m (72,000 ft). The test flight was taken by the smaller version, was flown at height of 330 ft (100 m), and successfully deliver the Wi-Fi signal to the ground.
