Samsung has announced in its latest press release that it will be going to rename its line of dual-core processors as “Exynos” which come form the Greek smart (exypnos) and green (prasinos). Orion, dual core 1 GHz will be the first processor which is given this new name “Exynos 4210” and is scheduled to launch in the next month.
The new line of CPUs “Exynos” is basically designed for mobile devices like smartphones and tablets. The idea for introducing this new line of CPUs is to provide power to the mobile devices as Samsung executive vice president of Marketing said that “Samsung’s Exynos chips will be the power inside enabling the coolest HD multi-media features with even longer battery life”. Lets check out the new samsung application processor next month hopefully comes in Galaxy S2.
