Netflix, one of a renowned name in giving 4K Ultra HD streaming services has recently revised its subscription charges. As a result, a new “Family” plan for the 4K UHD streaming will cost $11.99 per month. This new plan allows simultaneous streaming of up to four programs i.e. it allows up to four devices to play simultaneously.

According to the Netflix spokesman “We have a modest and growing catalog of titles in 4K, including ‘House of Cards,’ ‘Breaking Bad,’ ‘The Blacklist’ and a slate of upcoming Netflix original series.”

As far as the new rate is concerned, it is slightly higher than its previous “standard” HD subscribers and it is a $4 increase for HD users that signed on prior to May 9th, 2014. Whereas, current subscriber already paying for 4K content (prior to August 12th) will be grandfathered into the older $7.99 a month plan until August 12th, 2016 according to a Netflix customer service representative.
