Hitachi is trying to leave Toshiba behind as far as holding the record of fastest elevator is concerned. Sources indicate that Hitachi is all set to make its super fast elevator for the CTF Finance Center in city Guanghau of China. The building is currently being constructed and will have 111 floors.
Folks who are interested to know what will be the speeds of these new Hitachi elevators, they should know that the new elevators when installed will travel at 45mph to travel from ground to 95th floor in just 43 seconds.
Currently the fastest elevator title is held by Toshiba with speeds up to 38mph going up and down in Taipie 101 also called the skyscraper in Taiwan.
