There has been fair amount of rumors about the Amazon smartphone in the works such as the previously rumored AmazonBlaze phone that never showed up in the retail market but this time it is claimed that Amazon smartphone is very close to being released this year.
This news comes from Ming-Chi Kuo who is known for its predictions to become reality. According to Kuo claim, the upcoming Amazon smartphone is expected to be available in 3-6 months time and will be powered by Snapdragon quad core processor. It will have 4.7-inch display with 300 to 320 ppi pixel density.
Some of the other prominent features of the Amazon smartphone also include 13MP camera and more than two cameras which Kuo believes are for gesture control and object recognition.
