Just two weeks ago Huawei announced that it is going to release two new Android smartphones, the Huawei IDEOS X5 and X6. It looks like though Huawei has just released detailed specifications of IDEOS X5 smartphone which has Android 2.2 (Froyo) OS and also sports some decent specs as well.
The picture above shows Huawei IDEOS X5 smartphone. It has a 3.8 inch capacitive touchscreen with also supports multi-touch functionality. The screen supports a maximum resolution of 800×480. Other features include gravity sensor, A-GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, HD video playback, support for UMTS 900/2100MHz, HSUPA 5.76Mbps, HSDPA 7.2Mbps(U8800), HSUPA 5.7Mbps, HSPA+ 14Mbps(U8800H) etc. The Huawei IDEOS X5 Android smartphone is also equipped with a 5.0 mega pixel camera which is capable of recording 720p high definition (HD) videos.
The Huawei IDEOS X5 Android powered smartphone has a 1500mAh Li-Polymer battery. With Android 2.2 (Froyo) OS, the possibility of installing useful apps is enormous. We just have to wait for other details from Huawei such as price and exact availability of the new IDEOS X5 smartphone.
