Toshiba is about to introduce a new meaning for the word HD as it is very close to unveiling the REGZA 55X3 3D LCD TV at CENTEC Japan 2011. The new 55 inch Toshiba REGZA 3D LCD TV has four times the HD resolution which is 3840 x 2160 pixels. Other features of this superbly high resolution 3D LCD TV include REGZA Engine CEVO Duo processor, 5,000:1 contrast ratio, face tracking feature, 5 digital tuners, 10W 2ch + 10W speakers, USB / HDMI ports etc. It is also to be noted that while in 3D mode, picture can only be displayed in 1280 x 720 resolution. Toshiba will be releasing the REGZA 55X3 55 inch 3D LCD TV in Japan during the Christmas season for a handsome price of $11,730 only.
