LG has just unveiled ST600, a Smart TV Upgrader device which is meant to make a TV smarter by enabling online content access at affordable price including a bunch of other benefits. LG will be showcasing the new Smart TV Upgrader ST600 at the CES 2011 which is to be held in Las Vegas, USA. Features of LG’s ST500 are listed below.

According to LG, the Smart TV Upgrader will make regular TV access all sorts of Smart TV functions including LG’s Apps as well as premium online content. ST600 Smart TV Upgrader owners will have access to a wide variety of content from global as well as local providers. Main features of LG ST600 include Wi-Fi, Ethernet, DLNA (DMP), 1GB DDR 384 MB RAM etc. The LG Smart TV Upgrader is powered by BCM7615 CPU. The device only measures 11cm x 11cm and can also support USB mouse and external storage devices such as flash drives.

As expected, ST600 Smart TV also has Add-on-Architecture including a Web browser which will allow users to surf the web. The Smart TV Upgrader by LG can be powered by 110-240V, 50/60Hz AC and will be released in public by Q2 of 2011. Price of LG ST600 Smart TV Upgrader has not been released yet.
