Amazon Fire TV connects to your regular HDTV via HDMI cable and will have a access to subscription based services like Netflix, Hulu Plus, Pandora, Amazon Instant Video etc. According to Amazon, users will have access to over 200,000 TV episodes and movies.

Unlike other set top TV boxes, the Amazon Fire TV has a voice enable search feature which will allow you to just say your favorite TV show or movie name in to the remote and it will be immediately displayed. It has also got built-in games which you can play with the remote control or with the separately sold Amazon Fire Game Controller. It currently has 100+ games plus Amazon plans to add a lot more to its Amazon Fire games database.
