Zalman, a Chinese company has just released its new line of SATA 6.0 Gbps SSD, the Zalman SSD-F1 solid state drive. The Zalman SSD-F1 is a 2.5 inch SATA drive with SATA 6.0 Gbps interface. The SSD-F1 is equipped with MLC NAND Flash Memory chip, SandForce SF-2281 controller etc. The Zalman SSD has a MTBF of 1.2 million hours and supports read and write speeds of up to 560MB/s and 530MB/s respectively.
The new Zamlam SSD-F1 SATA 6.0 Gbps SSD is available in 60GB, 120GB and 240GB capacities with starting price of about $154 only. Currently the Zamlam SSD-F1 SSDs are only available in China.
