Toshiba has just released its first Cedar Trail Netbook in Japan named as Dynabook N301 Cedar Trail Netbook. The Dynabook is open only for Japan and still yet to find any information for its worldwide release. It is for the first time that Toshiba brings a netbook based on Intel’s new Cedar Trail platform which obviously curious for the vendors to assess the response and also for the users to taste the new Intel’s flavor.

As far as the hardware specs of Toshiba Dynabook is concerned it is designed with:

  • 10.1” 1024×600 display
  • 1.86GHz dual-core Intel Atom processor
  • GMA 3650 graphics
  • 1GB of RAM and 320GB hard drive
  • Harman Kardon speakers located at the palm rest area
  • 3 USB 2.0 ports
  • Audio ports
  • Multi card reader
  • Battery life of 6.5 hours

The Dynabook N301 has almost all the necessary features that a usual netbook has except the absence of HDMI port which is looking quite surprising in the first Cedar Trail system.
