Toshiba and Best Buy have built a kid-centric laptop which they call the Toshiba satellite L635 Kid’s PC. The idea behind this new laptop design is to make parents feel better about the safety of their children on the web. For this the Satellite L635 laptop comes installed with NetNanny parental control software.
The Toshiba Satellite L635 laptop is powered by Intel Celeron 2GHz P4600 processor. Other features include a 13.3 inch diagonal HD display, integrated DVD drive, webcam and a no-gloss textured finish. This kid’s laptop also has a specially designed web browser for kids called KidZui which along with NetNanny software ensures that all the kids surf safely on the web.
The new Toshiba Satellite L635 laptop will exclusively be available from Best Buy for a price tag of $500 only from 26th Sept 2010.
