Vivaldia which was earlier called as Spark Tablet, has been delayed a month for its launch. Earlier it was expected that the Vivaldi LInux Tablet will be released in the month of May but due to some technical reasons it has got some delay.

The reason behind this delay is the corporate work between KDE software developers and a Chinese company to load software on a tablet and then make connections with the European distributors to ensure its availability. This delay will hopefully become beneficial as it more likely to add some new features in respect to security.

As far as specs are concerned the Vivaldi Tablet is comprised of :

  • 7-inch touchscreen display with an 800 x 480 pixel resolution
  • 1GHz AMlogic processor
  • Mali 400 graphics
  • 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage
  • HDMI and a pair of USB ports
  • front-facing camera
  • Mer Linux operating system
  • KDE Plasma Active user interface

The tablet will be available in European market at price of €200 but it will be more cheaper in price when it will release in US.
