Thanko Japan has just released another of their SmartTV stick called the Android SmartTV Quad-Core 2. What it does is that it converts your ordinary LCD TV into a SmartTV running Android 4.2 OS.
The Thanko Android SmartTV Quad-Core 2 has 1.6GHz quad-core processor along with 2GB RAM. It has internal storage of 8GB plus you can also use a microSD card up to 32GB. It has HDMI 1.3 and for gaming graphics it uses Mali400 GPU.
It supports nearly all photo and video file formats and you can also connect external flash drive or external HDD to its USB port. It uses WiFi to connect to the internet. Users will also be able to use USB/wireless keyboard or mouse with it.
The new Thanko Android SmartTV Quad-Core 2 TV stick will cost about 14,800 Yen or about $147 only.
