Sony Unveiled Revised Version Of S Series Laptops

Sony revealed its latest line up of S Series laptops, the series consists of two types of laptops; Sony VAIO SA and Sony VAIO SE; they differ only in size and storage capacity while all the remaining specs are almost similar. The Sony VAIO SE is an HD 15.5 inch model which is sufficiently larger size for watching videos as far as laptops are concerned.  On the other hand, the Sony VAIO SA laptops are 13.3 inch notebooks with slim body design.

If you look at the specs of these laptops, you will find that they are almost similar to each other for instance;

  • Intel Core i5-2430M/2.40 Ghz processor with TurboBoost

  • AMD Radeon Hybrid Graphics 6630M (up to 1GB VRAM)

The specs which differentiate SA and SE series with each other include:

  • 15.5-inch HD display for SE; 13.3-inch display with 1600×900 resolution for SA
  • 500 GB internal storage capacity in SE; while 640 GB in SA
  • SE series offers 5.45 hrs of battery life while SA offers 7.15 hrs.
  • Extra 10-key Num Pad in SE

As far as price is concerned both Sony VAIO SA and VAIO SE series laptops are available at Sony webstore at different prices starting from $999.
