Panasonic Unveils Panasonic Viera Tablet


Panasonic has just announced via press release that they will be releasing their first Android powered tablet series called Panasonic Viera Tablet that will be made available in 2011 and will come in different sizes. Panasonic states that with the launch of Viera Tablets, Panasonic will be entering the era of cloud computing and these Viera tablets will also have easy access to Panasonic’s own VIERA digital TVs.

Panasonic Viera tablet is going to be another Android powered tablet and it will be available in 4 to 10 inch sizes with the same set of hardware and features. Panasonic Viera tablets will ideally be used in conjunction with TV to tablet and tablet to TV content sharing or transfer. You can even control your home theater with the Panasonic Viera tablet.

The Panasonic Viera tablet will be released shortly in Japan and is more likely to make its way to the US market after Q1 2011. There is not much information available on Panasonic tablet and more information such as, price, availability and detailed set of features and specifications will become available during the CES 2011 exhibition during 6 to 9 Jan 2011.
