Panasonic has just announced via press release about its recent addition to the list of toughbooks. The Panasonic Toughbook S10 is the new monster in terms of both durability as well as battery life which according to Panasonic can be as long as 12.5 hours. The new Panasonic Toughbook S10 has a 12.1 inch LCD display and is powered by Intel Sandy bridge processors Core i5 2.5GHz with Turbo Boost up to 3.2GHz. This durable notebook has a spill-resistant keyboard and can withstand up to 220 lbs of compression, not to mention it is also designed to survive a 2.5 foot drop.
The hard drive in Panasonic Toughbook S10 is 320GB and is also shock-resistant. Other features of the new Panasonic Toughbook S10 include 4GB of RAM, DVD drive, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LAN, HDMI out, VGA out etc. This durable notebook weighs about 3 lbs and has a very attractive magnesium alloy body. The Panasonic Toughbook S10 runs Genuine Windows 7 Professional OS and it will be available in stores by Sept 2011 for a price of $2,449 with a three-year limited warranty.
