Onkyo Unveils TA117 10.1” Tablet With Android 2.2 or Windows OS

Onkyo Japan has just revealed what they have for the 2011 CES exhibition. Onkyo calls it TA117, which is a 10.1” tablet PC powered by the famous NVIDIA Tegra 250 processor and the best past about it is that the users will have the option to get it with either Android 2.2 (Froyo) or Windows 7 (probably) OS. The tablet has a fairly simple design and looks like most of the 10.1 inch tablets released in Q3/Q4 2010. The processor is NVIDIA Tegra 250 1GHz along with 512MB of DDR2 RAM. Other features include Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi etc. The Onkyo 10.1 inch tablet also has a front facing camera which will come in handy for making video calls. Internal memory will be 8GB or 16GB which can be further be enhanced by adding a microSD card.

The Onkyo TA117 10.1 inch tablet also has an HDMI-out and two USB ports. No information on price and exact availability has yet been revealed. Stay tuned for updates.
