MSI has recently announced its new netbook the MSI Wind U160DX that has even received an award from the Germans. The MSI Wind U160DX netbook has a remarkable battery backup time of 15 hours and its comes with MSI’s TDR (Turbo Drive Technology) that maximizes hardware capabilities and improves processing performance.
Other than the MSI TDE, the MSI Wind U160DX has more or less the same hardware as the previous versions of MSI netbooks had. This MSI netbook has 10.1 inch LED backlit display, has NM10 chipset, GMA3150 graphics chipset, 160GB HDD, 2GB DDR3 RAM, 2-in-1 card reader, 1.3 mega pixel webcam, stereo speakers etc. The MSI Wind U160DX netbook is powered by Intel N455 Atom processor of 1.66GHz. This MSI netbook weighs almost 1Kg with a 3 cell battery and also has support for 6-cell battery. The netbook also has support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR etc. This netbook also supports 3.5G mobile networks so you can easily surf the web while traveling.
The MSI Wind U160DX netbook has Windows 7 Starter Edition. Price of this netbook is yet to be announced.
