LG has just announced its first LTE Android tablet, the 8.9 inch Optimus Pad LTE tablet featuring True HD 1280 x 720 IPS touchscreen display and powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor. Other features of the LG Optimus Pad LTE tablet include 32GB internal storage, 8.0 MP rear facing camera and 2.0 MP front facing camera, microSD card slot, HDMI, DLNA etc. As of now, the new LG 8.9 inch Optimus Pad LTE runs Android 3.2 OS and comes with a battery of 6800 mAh.
The new LG Optimus Pad LTE tablet is currently set to be initially made available in South Korea and then rest of the world. There is still no word on the price of LTE supported Optimus Pad.
