Lenovo and Intel together have come up with a new solution for introducing laptops to children. The Classmate+ PC is an affordable and cheap laptop computer for education purpose only. This Classmate+ PC should not be mistaken for Toshiba’s Classmate (CM1) Tablet PC, which Toshiba announced last year. Some of the main features of the Lenovo Classmate+ PC has been discussed below.
The new Lenovo Classmate+ PC is a handy laptop with 10.1 inch LED backlit LCD display that children can easily carry and handle. It has been pre-loaded with Intel Learning Series software suite along with specialized education software from leading teaching resources. The Lenovo Intel Classmate+ PC is of course powered by Intel Atom processor with HDD storage up to 250GB which is plenty of space for children. The Classmate+ PC laptop also has a very handy 4-in-1 card reader along with Wi-Fi, Ethernet etc. The Children Classmate+ PC laptop has been made drop-resistant and has spill-resistant keyboard.
The Lenovo Classamte+ PC laptop is available to institutions and other organizations. The price very much depends upon the region it will be used in.
