Hitachi has just added another HDD to its line of high capacity hard disk drives, the Hitachi Deskstar 7K4000, which is a 4TB capacity HDD. The Hitachi Deskstar 7K4000 is a 3.5 inch internal HDD for desktop computers having SATA 6.0 Gbps interface with an impressive 1638MB/s media transfer rate and a 600MB/s interface transfer rate. The 4TB capacity Hitachi HDD has a 64MB data buffer and a 7200 RPM speed.
Unfortunately Hitachi has not announced the price of the Hitachi Deskstar 7K4000 4TB HDD but the good part is that the drive will be releasing this month.
