Gigabyte recently announced its two netbooks M1005 and Q2005 based on Intel Dual-Core Atom N550 processors. These are 10.1 inch netbooks with LED-backlit LCD display, though its release date and price are not revealed but its specs are unveiled by the gigabyte.
Gigabyte M1005
According to Gigabyte, M1005 and Q2005 netbooks comprise of following common features:
- 10.1 inches of LED-backlit display
- 1024 x 600 pixels of resolution
- 1GB/2GB of RAM
- 250GB/320GB hard drive
- 1.5GHz Intel Atom N550 dual-core processor
- Windows 7 Starter operating system
- Intel GMA 3150 integrated graphics
- 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet Base-T
- Bluetooth 3.0
- Gigabit Ethernet
Gigabyte Q2005
Major specs of both netbooks are same except for few for instance;
- M1005 has 4-in-1 card reader while in Q2005 has 8-in-1 card reader.
- M1005 has 1.3 MP webcam while in Q2005 has 0.3 MP webcam
- M1005 has Li-ion 4-cell battery while in Q2005 has Li-ion 3-cell and Li-ion 6-cell battery
The major difference is that M1005 comes with a dock at which the notebook can be fixed vertically and hence save your space. This is not enough the dock station also comes with
