Corsair has started shipment of its new line of SSDs, the Corsair Force Series GT SATA 6.0 Gbps SSDs. These are 2.5” solid state drives available in 60GB and 120GB capacities. According to Corsair, these new SATA 6.0 Gbps SSDs are equipped with SandForce SF-2280 controller which will give this SSD a mean time before failure (MTBF) of 2 million hours. The Corsair Series GT SATA 6.0 Gbps SSD has a rated read and write speeds of 555MB/s and 525MB/s respectively. For those who are interested in buying the new Corsair SATA 6.0 Gbps SSDs, these are available for $149 and $279 for 60GB and 120GB SSDs respectively.
