Corsair has just introduced another line of solid state drives, the Corsair Accelerator Solid State Cache Drive specifically for desktop computers. According to Corsair, the Accelerator Solid State Cache drive will make your desktop HDD perform much faster when used as HDD/SSD combination. The Corsair Accelerator Solid State Cache drive has a SATA II 3.0 Gbps interface and has maximum read and write speeds of up to 280MB/s and 270MB/s respectively. These Solid State Cache drives will be made available in 30GB, 45GB and 60GB capacities.
The prices of the new Corsair Accelerator Solid State Cache Drives are $69, $84 and $99 for 30GB, 45GB and 60GB models respectively.
