World's Smallest Interchangeable Lens Camera

Recently we have posted about Sony NEX-C3 which was so called smallest interchangeable lens camera but it is not the only one Pentax today has announced Pentax Q the world’s smallest ILC and is also give its demo in its first hands on video. It is not only built with smallest ILC but also accompanied with world’s smallest sensor in an ILC.

According to the press release the Q digital camera is designed with innovative PENTAX-developed imaging system that produces superior image quality. The stunning design features are:

 

  • 12.4 megapixels
  • 1/2.3-inch backlit CMOS image sensor
  • Record 1080p/30 video with h.264 compression
  • HVGA-resolution 3-inch LCD

In addition with various DSLR capture modes that are typically available in these cameras, the Q cam has other creative shoot modes and Smart Effect Options including an HDR capture mode.

The Pentax Q will hopefully starts shipping in late September this year at price of $800 with 47mm f/1.9 kit lens. It will be available in two different colors black and white.
