For those who missed out, the 3Doodler is a 3D printing pen by WobbleWorks LLC, with which you can make anything you like. It started out as a Kickstarter project seeking funds of up to $30,000 and ended getting over $2.3 million which is remarkable for any Kickstater project.

This 3Doodler is unlike any other pen instead it is more like a glue gun which instead of using silicone tube, utilizes plastic sticks that either come in 1 foot bunches or 1Kg spool with 3mm of cross-sectional area. The 3D objects created with the 3Doodler pen are called 3Doodles. Each plastic stick is of 1 foot long will produce up to 11 feet of Doodling fun.

Users will be able to download project, print them out and then using the 3Doodler make their desired object just like the way 2D sketches are made with stencils. The 3Doodler is currently in the pre-sale phase for $99 and is expected to start shipping freely earlier in 2014. You can get on of these 3D printing pens from Amazon (details here).
