Recently Sony has announced its new Walkman series NWZ-E450 with an impressive playback time of 50 hours for audio and up to 10 hours for video playback. The new Sony Walkman NWZ-E450 series is Windows 7 optimized which means it is as simple as plug and play as far as transferring media files is concerned.

The new Sony Walkman NWZ-E450 series have a total of four Sony walkmans. These are:
- NWZ-E453 – 4GB memory
- NWZ-E454 – 8GB memory
- NWZ-E455 – 16GB memory
- NWZ-E450K (with cradle)
The Sony Walkman NWZ-E450 series has 2-inch QVGA screen that is meant to display images and video. Supported audio formats are MP3, WMA, AAC etc. The new Sony Walkmans get completely charged in just 3 hours. These new NWZ-E450 series walkmans are expected to be made available in August this year.
