Miito is Sustainable Kettle Meant to Save Energy

Miito

Miito was a concept presented last year, but now it has been modified by Nils Chudy and Jasmina Grase and presented the idea with the prototype design. The purpose of Miito is to warm liquid in any vessel without wasting extra energy becuase it has been recorded that considerable amount of energy is wasted in the form of water every year. All this is due to our typical style kettles which atleast require 500ml of water to warm and if you want just a cup then rest of the water is wasted. Thus Miito saves energy as it allows to heat up only required amount of water in any container to any temperature.

Though the modified Miito has the same metal rod as was described in the earlier concept but comes with a thinner and small induction base. The rod is made of stainless steel body thus it is easy to clean. All you need is to place the glass or cup with your desired amount of water onto the induction base, insert the metal rod and here it goes. The liquid will be heat up to your desired temperature i.e. it doesn’t stop automatically after boiling it and only stops when you release rod from the liquid.

Miito seems to be one of the most useful gadget in near future but will get exposure in the real world if it reaches its funding goal. If you like this useful handy gadget then make some pledge on its Kickstarter page to make it available soon.
