Fluid Computer Systems, a company that specializes in innovation products, has just announced two new Fluid tablets, Fluid Stream and Fluid Motion (3G), both of which are 10.1 inch Windows 7 tablets powered by none other than the Intel Atom processor.

iPad Alternative or iPad Equivalent Tablet ?

Aaron Henry, CEO of Fluid Computer Systems, states that these two Fluid Tablets can easily be used at alternative for those netbooks, laptops and even Apple’s iPad as these contain Office style software. These two Fluid Computer Systems Tablets have 1GB of RAM, 160GB of storage space and have support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth as well as 3G. The display is a 10.1” multi-touch screen. Not much information is revealed about these two tablets other than the fact that these are available for $599 (Fluid Stream) and if you wish to get the 3G version i.e. the Fluid Motion tablet then it would cost you about $699 and will start shipping in Feb 2011. The Fluid Stream Windows 7 tablet however will be shipped by Christmas 2010.

Battery life of both the tablets is supposed to lasts 3-5 hours depending upon usage. Fluid Computer Systems also indicates that they will also release applications to support more functionality for their two tablets but as for now these are the only specs that are revealed at the manufacturer’s website.
