Sonim has just revealed another rugged GSM phone, the Sonim XP3300 Force, which can withstand up to 30 meters drop and has also got some other impressive specs some of which have been highlighted below. Remember that Sonim XP3300 Force is not the first rugged phone that Sonim has released. In the past we have seen the likes of Sonim XP3 Sentinel and Sonim XP1300 CORE rugged phones which had IP67 and IP68 ratings respectively.

The Sonim XP3300 Force has a 2 inch screen with a 1.5mm thick Gorilla Glass shield. It has a handy 2 mega pixel camera with flash light. It even has a noise-canceling microphone which is a plus considering the fact it is meant to be used in extreme conditions. The Sonim XP3300 Force supports GPS, Bluetooth etc. This rugged phone has IP68 ratings.

The Sonim XP3300 Force is a quad-band rugged GSM phone. It also comes with Opera Mini browser, Mobile resource management apps, City Cruiser Navigation etc. The phone works even below -20 degree Celsius and can withstand temperatures as high as 55 degrees Celsius. The Sonim XP3300 Force rugged GSM phone has a remarkable battery life. It offers a talk time of 24 hours and up to 34 days of standby time. Sonim XP3300 Force rugged phone will start shipping in Q2 2011. No information on price was found at the time of writing so stay tuned for updates.
