Samsung showed off a hands-on show at the MWC of its new Galaxy smartphone which comes with a projector, the phone is thus named as Samsung Galaxy Beam. Though its not the first mobile projector device from Samsung which didn’t get much success but unexpectedly 500 units of Galaxy Beam has been produced for testing which indicates that Samsung has done something different with this projector phone to make it successfull.
While looking at the projector feature of the phone, it embeds 15-lumen projector that can project video, images and document files like PowerPoint presentations up to 50-inches wide in nHD (640×360). On the other hand it features:
- 4.0 WVGA (800×400) display
- 1GHz dual core processor
- 8 GB internal storage
- 5 MP rear camera
- 1.3 MP front camera
- 2000mAh battery
It comes with a long-lasting batter which will give you smooth running up to 3 hours. Since it embeds projector in it hence why its apps are also associated with it like MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and file viewer features. If Samsung got success from its testing units then it would certainly make everyone excited to have it on its launch but since then its thickness issue is under consideration which makes it feel slightly bulky.
