The Panasonic ELUGA is the first Japanese smartphone that is released outside Japan (currently in Europe). It has a 4.3” touchscreen display with 960 x 540 resolution. It is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor of TI-OMAP. Other features of the new Panasonic ELUGA phone include 8MP rear facing camera, NFC, WiFi, Bluetooth, 8GB internal storage etc. The Panasonic ELUGA phone will be running Android 2.3 out of the box and will receive an upgrade to Android 4.0 OS this summer. Most of you might not be aware that the Panasonic ELUGA smartphone is also water proof up to 1 meter depth for about 30 minutes and also has an IP57 rating for protection against foreign particles.
