Nokia has officially unveiled its coming MeeGo powered smartphone the Nokia N9 which is the successor of Nokia N8. The major difference between N8 and N9 (is the MeeGo platform which is a Linux based mobile operating system.

The Nokia N9 comes with a useful application of Swiping which helps to easily switch between applications for instance it has three “Home View” for quick access of applications, notifications, updates, etc. Besides the awesome applications the new MeeGo N9 smartphone comprises of many advanced hardware specs including:
- 3.9-inch AMOLED display
- 16GB or 64GB of onboard memory
- 1GB of RAM
- OMAP3630 1 Ghz processor
- PowerVR SGX530 GPU for graphic functions
- quad-band GSM and penta-band WCDMA radios
- Bluetooth 2.1, NFC and GPS connectivity
- 8-megapixel camera for HD video recording
Nokia N9 will be available in three different colors; black, cyan, and magenta but Nokia did not provide further specifics on the launch date or the price but hopefully it will be available in market later this year. Stay tune to get more information!
