Nokia Says E7 Starts Shipping December 2010

The new Nokia Smartphone, Nokia E7 powered by Symbian^3 OS, will start shipping in December this year, says Nokia via Twitter. Previously Nokia released photos for Nokia E7 Smartphone and there was no news on availability and pricing but now Nokia has shared them both.

Nokia E7 stalkers should know that it is nowhere near the features of the Nokia N8 phone, which has a 12 mega pixel camera and supports high definition video recording at 30 frames per second. The Nokia E7 Smartphone however has a full size QWERTY keyboard which is ideal for texting, if you happen to be more into texting rather than calling. The Nokia E7 has a 4” AMOLED screen that supports 16:9 640 x 360 pixels resolution. Other features include, GPS, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, 3G connectivity, HDMI out, high speed USB 2.0 etc.

Battery life of Nokia E7 Smartphone is up to 9 hours in talk time and up to 470 hours in standby mode. Although Nokia has finally declared that the phone starts shipping in December 2010 but still there is no official word on pricing. Some of UK online retailers are offering the unlocked version of Nokia E7 for £495 to £600 which is USD would be a high price for Symbian^3 Smartphone for US customers.
