LG has officially announced its first curved screen smartphone, the LG G Flex. LG is not the first one to release an actual curved display smartphone, Samsung Galaxy Round announced few days ago is the first one in t he league.
According to the source, the new LG G Flex smartphone packs a 6″ 720p curved display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor of 2.26GHz. Other features include 2GB RAM, 32GB on internal storage, microSD card slot, LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth etc.
The LG G Flex smartphone will be running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS out of the box and will have a 13MP rear facing camera. The device has elegant appearance and is curved from top to bottom.
The LG G Flex smartphone will start shipping in South Korea next month. Now shipping in the US via Amazon (see details).
