Just when you thought it was too late for another phone to be released this year, Huawei has just unveiled two new Android phones, the Ideos X5 and Ideos X6 phones, both featuring Android 2.2 (Froyo) and sporting capacitive touch screens. Consumers might also get updates to Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) which seems like a nice option. Many Huawei Ideos fans would be pleased to know that these two phones will be having a low price tag.
The Ideos X5 features a 3.8” capacitive touch screen and has a 5.0 mega pixel camera with flash light. Other features of this smartphone includes, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, HSPA-supporting radios etc. The Huawei Ideos X5 has a slightly compact design but still the 3.8” screen sounds good enough for some video playback as well as gaming and web surfing.
The Huawei Ideos X6 on the other hand has an impressive 4.1” capacitive touch screen. It has also got a 5.0 mega pixel camera with flash light which can also shoot high definition (HD) videos. Huawei Ideos X6 Android phone has WVGA resolution and not surprisingly, is powered by 1GHz processor. Other features include Wi-Fi, GPS, 3G with HSPA 14.4Mbps etc. It even has an HDMI-out port for connecting it to some larger displays such as LCD HDTVs and LCD monitors.
Too bad we cannot find any information about price and availability of the Huawei Ideos X5 and X6 Android powered smartphones.
