Sony at CES 2014 introduced a new member in its Xperia Z1 family which we can call no-compromise compact form of Sony Xperia Z1. It means that it grabs all the important features of the Xperia Z1 except dimensions and battery capacity.
What Sony did with its new Xperia Z1 Compact phone is; reduce width and height which obviously increases the thickness and reduce to battery capacity from 300mAh to 2300mAh and utilize 720p display without dropping the sharpness. The other main specs are almost same as we found in its previous full-on version i.e.
- 4.3” IPS HD Display with 340 PPI
- Snapdragon 800 architecture
- 16GB of internal storage
- microSD slot
- Android 4.3 OS
- 20 Megapixel Camera
- NFC connectivity
By introducing the Sony Xperia Z1 Compact Sony tried to show that compact android phones doesn’t always need compromise in features. You can purchase these for much less then regular price at Amazon (details here). Lets see whether this could bring revolution in compact phones market!
