Though Chinese smartphone brands still don’t recognize well in the western market but they keep their momentum increasing to get global privilege in the consumer electronics. Gionee is such a chinese brand which has global ambitions, therefore, it is going to launch its Elife E7 smartphone in the first week of December which is built with the most sensitive 16MP camera and 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor.
Gionee developed two versions of the Elife E7 the 4G and 3G variants having difference in hardware specs as given below:

While the specs which are kept same in both the versions include:
- 5.5-inch 1080p third generation Gorilla Glass display
- Adreno 330 GPU
- NFC, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity
- 16MP rear camera, thanks to Largan M8 lens and 1/2.3-inch sensor with large 1.34µm pixels
- 8MP front-facing camera
- Android Jelly Bean 4.2
The camera specs beat the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S 5 which has 1.12µm pixels, 16-megapixel. But still one couldn’t make any comment on the Elife E7 performance before its launch, if Gionee’s Elife E7 gets applause from the customer then it will be green signal for the Chinese manufacturers to compete in the western market.
