RIM’s BlackBerry PlayBook Tablet To Cost Under $500

According to Bloomberg Businessweek, RIM has planned to launch BlackBerry PlayBook Tablet that will cost under $500 and it will be launched first in North America during the first quarter of 2011.

The RIM’s 7.1 inch BlackBerry PlayBook Tablet is priced $100 less than the 3G Samsung Galaxy tablet and is matched exactly with the 9.7-inch WiFi-only iPad (16GB. It is expected that the tablet will beat the WiFi iPad that would be launched at that time by Apple as it is priced cheap with the same features.

It has been planned by the RIM by that the Blackberry PlayBook Tablet will be available for North American costumers in the early 2011 and is then hopefully available in later part of the world in the next quarter.
