ASUS Padfone 2 which was introduced earlier at the event of Mobile World Congress this year, now going to make its official debut on 16th of October. But before making its official some of the sources leaked its launch date, photos and specs just before a day of its announcement.
Just like Padfone the Padfone 2 is also an hybrid device which is actually a smartphone which comes with special docking station to make its look like a tablet. This time it comes with little more enhanced features that include a docking station with a different stylish design and 10.1-inch touchscreen display along with separate battery power that will definitely increases the phone battery power as well. On the other hand the improved phone features include :
- 4.7-inch Super IPS+ HD display with 1280×720 pixel resolution
- 1.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 mobile processor
- 2 GB RAM
- 13 megapixel back-end camera
- Front facing VGA camera
- 2140 mAh battery
The news regarding its operating system is still not confirmed that whether it will run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich or 4.1 Jelly Bean. So lets wait for tomorrow when it will get official and all the things gets clear.
