We all initially saw the glimpse of Alcatel One Touch Idol Smartphone during CES 2013 and now Alcatel has announced that the phone will be sold unlocked and without any contract. For those who missed out on the CES 2013 highlights, they better know that the Alcatel One Touch Idol Smartphone packs a 4.7 inch touchscreen display and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor. Its other features include 512MB RAM, microSD card slot, 4GB internal storage, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS etc.
The Alcatel One Touch Idol Smartphone will be running Android 4.1 OS out of the box and has an 8.0 MP rear facing camera and a 2.0 MP font facing camera. The phone is available through Alcatel without any carrier lock or any contract for $300 only and can be used with any GSM carrier worldwide.
