Acer Unveils Acer Liquid Mini Android Smartphone Featuring DLNA Support : CES 2011

Acer has just unveiled another Android powered smartphone, the Acer Liquid Mini Smartphone that features Android 2.2 (Froyo) and is powered by Qualcomm processor. This is being considered the mini version of the previously released Acer Liquid Metal smartphone. Acer has showcased the Acer Liquid Mini smart phone at the 2011 CES that is in progress in Las Vegas. The Acer Liquid Mini Smartphone has a 3.2” HVGA touch screen display with 480×320 pixel resolution. As already mentioned above, this Android phone is powered by a 600MHz Qualcomm 7227 processor along with 512MB RAM. No word on internal storage but with the microSD card slot, you can add up to 32GB of store memory. Other features include HSDPA support, DLNA connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, FM radio etc.

The Acer Liquid Mini smart phone will have a talk-time of up to 6.5 hours and will be available in five different colors (see photo) such as royal blue, jet silver, lime green, piano black and light pink. Acer plans to release this new smartphone in April 2011 starting from UK market. There is still no information on price for the new Acer Liquid Mini smartphone.
