The AMD Radeon HD 6800 series have dual slot design. Both the HD 6850 and HD 6870 graphics cards have 2 x mini-DisplayPort (v1.2), 2 x DVI ports and 1 x HDMI 1.4a port. These 6800 graphics cards are compatible with DirectX11 and both the cards have 1GB of GDDR5 memory on board which is enough for providing smooth multimedia experience such as Blu-ray 3D support, stereoscopic 3D gaming etc.
The AMD HD 6800 series cards are of course PCI Express based cards and not surprisingly demand some other requirements from your deskptop PC to have such as a minimum of 500 Watts of power supply, minimum of 1GB system memory and a PCI Express based PC which has a X16 lane graphics slot on motherboard. These requirements are no issue as many PCI Express based motherboards already have these specifications.
The AMD Radeon HD 6850 and HD 6870 graphics cards are available for a price of $179 and $239 respectively.
