During CES 2013, we saw a glimpse of the new Lenovo Smartphone, the K900 smartphone and for those who missed out, they better know that the Lenovo K900 is the first smartphone to be powered by Intel’s next generator Clover Trail+ mobile processor. It has a very high tech set of hardware as far as competing with other high end smartphones is considered. The Lenovo K900 smartphone has a 5.5″ full HD Gorilla Glass display and is powered by Intel 2GHz dual-core Atom Z2580 processor. Other interesting features include a 13MP rear facing camera and of course Android 4.2 Jelly Bean as the OS of choice. Like very few other smartphones, the Lenovo K900 smartphone has a stainless steel frame and a very slim profile with just 6.9mm thickness.

For those interested, the new Lenovo K900 has started shipping in China for RMB 3299 or roughly $530 only. The release date in other countries is expected to be aired this summer so stay tuned.

Panasonic has just made the news public about its new smartphone, the Panasonic P51. According to the media release, the new Panasonic P51 smartphone has a 5-inch display with 1280 x 720 resolution and is powered by a 1.2GHz MediaTek quad-core processor. Other features include 1GB RAM, 4GB storage, microSD Card slot, 3G, WiFi, GPS etc.

The new Panasonic P51 Smartphone will be running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS out of the box and has a 2,500mAh battery that is expected to last the entire day of usage. For those interested, the new Panasonic P51 smartphone is currently available in India for a price of about $517 or INR 26,900 only.

Archos has just partially announced about its new addition to the line of Android powered tablets, the Archos 80 Xenon. According to the limited information revealed, the new Archos 80 Xenon tablet will have an 8″ IPS display with 1024 x 768 resolution. It is a 3G tablet and will somewhat rely on 3G networks for data consumption. The Archos 80 Xenon will be powered by Qualcomm Quad-Core processor of 1.2GHz and the operating system of choice is Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Other features include WiFi, built-in GPS, wide viewing angles for the display, 1GB RAM, 2MP rear facing camera, microSD card slot etc.

BenQ has just released another of its DLP projectors, the MX822ST projector, The new BenQ DLP Projector is another of those short-throw projectors aimed to target small conference rooms and class rooms. It has the ability to deliver up to 3500 ANSI lumens brightness with 13000:1 contrast ratio. It has a native resolution of 1024 x 768 and can support 1080p content as well. According to BenQ, the MX822ST projector has a lamp life of about 3,500 hours in smartEco mode. It is a 3D-ready projector with a 20Watts built-in speaker. The aspect ratio on the BenQ MX822ST is 4:3 and it offers a couple of connectivity options as well which includes HDMI-in, VGA-in, S-Video, Ethernet, 2 x USB, RCA A/V input etc.

NEC is about to release its latest addition to the line of whatever you can call it. It is a notebook computer called LaVie L but what makes it interesting enough is the presence of the new Intel Haswell platform which Intel announced that users will be able to witness somewhere in Jun 20103.

According to the source, the new NEC LaVie L will have a dual purpose use as it has an automated size 15.6″ touchscreen display. Other features include 8GB RAM, WiFi connectivity, hybrid SSD, BDXL drive etc. And that’s all to it with no information on price and release date so stay tuned for updates.

Motorola has just announced its latest product, it is a handheld Mobile computer, the Motorola MC959B. According to Motorola, the MC959B has a rugged design and complies with IP67 protection ratio. It has integrated WWAN, WLAN and GPS modules plus the customer can switch between 3.5G GSM HSDPA and 3.5G CDMA-EVDO Rev A if situation demands it. As the above picture clearly indicates that the new Motorola MC959B Mobile computer has decent size keypad with and programmable function keys. The device also has a 3.7-inch VGA display and is powered by 886 MHz Marvell microprocessor.

According to Motorola, the Mobile computer MC959B will have a high-capacity battery and a very ergonomic design to fit in your hands easily. There is still no news on price and exact release date so stay tuned for more updates on the Motorola MC959B.

Optoma USA has just introduced a new economic DLP projector, the Optoma TW610ST+. According to Optoma, this new projector is not going to break the bank and is designed to produce best results in tight places as it is capable of projecting up to 84″ diagonal image from just 3 feet away. The new Optoma DLP projector has a whopping 3200 ANSI lumens and with that much lighting power one might be thinking of a projector priced at thousands of dollars but this is not the case.

The new Optoma TW610STI+ DLP projector is a 3D-ready WXGA resolution with supporting content in UXGA, SXGA, SXGA+, XGA, SVGA and VGA resolutions. It has 2 x VGA-in, VGA-out, S-Video, composite video, HDMI v1.3, RCA audio-in, stereo audio audio-out, microphone-in etc ports. The new Optoma TW610STI+ DLP projector retails at a price of $999.99 only.

Huawei just announced the addition of Huawei W1 to its existing line of smartphones. As the title suggests, the Huawei W1 is Huawei’s first Windows Phone 8 smartphone introduced this year and a remark by Todd Greedberg, GM of US Windows Phones Sales, clearly indicated that it is a great addition to the existing family of Windows Phone 8 smartphones.

According to Huawei, the W1 smartphone has a 4.0 inch Gorilla Glass IPS touchscreen display. It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor. Other prominent features include a 5.0MP rear facing camera and a VGA front facing camera. The internal storage is not clearly specified yet and as stated, the users will have about 1.7GB of space to install their apps and store other data and there is of course a microSD card slot that can hold up to 32GB of flash memory. There is still no word on price and exact release date other than the fact that the Huawei W1 Windows Phone 8 smartphone will start shipping this month on reputable online retailers in the US.

BenQ has just announced that its latest addition to the line of portable DLP projectors, the Joybee GP3 Mini projector will start shipping the current month. According to BenQ, the Joybee GP3 Mini projector is a little beast with capability of projecting 1280 x 800 WXGA resolution at 300 ANSI lumens brightness while maintaining a remarkable contrast ratio of 10,000:1. Remember that this is a portable mini projector while being so, it has a 30,000 hours of lamp life when used in Eco mode.

Like previous BenQ mini projector, the Joybee GP3 mini projector also has a docking slot for iPhones and iPods. Other features include an SD card slot, 2 x 2 Watt stereo speakers with SRS WOW HD technology etc. The Joybee GP3 mini projector is no bigger than the size of you palm and it will start shipping worldwide in May 2013. Unfortunately price is still not known at the time of writing.

News has hit the air and it has been made official by Samsung that the Galaxy Core smartphone which was earlier depicted as a rumor is now a reality. According to Samsung, the Galaxy Core smartphone will be running Android 4.1 OS out of the box. It will have a 4.3″ WVGA TFT LCD display and will be powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor. Other features of the new Galaxy Core samrtphone include 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, 5MP rear facing camera, VGA front facing camera etc. The battery on this phone will be about 1800mAh which sounds fair enough considering the hardware inside.

As per the specs revealed, the new Samsung Galaxy Core will be available in both single SIM and dual SIM configuration and both versions share the same set of specifications on the whole. There is still no news on the price of the Galaxy Core phone. So stay tuned for updates.

Toshiba has just announced its new Toshiba Canvio Connect portable external hard drive that you can carry with you anywhere you want. Unlike previous Toshiba Canvio hard drives, the Canvio Connect can be used to make instant backup of your photos and videos that are found on other devices such as smartphones, tablets, computers etc. It is the first ever portable external hard drive by Toshiba that connects directly to the source and makes instant backups and shares.

As per the recent press release, the Toshiba Canvio Connect portable hard drive will start shipping in May 2013 and will be available in 500GB, ,750GB, 1TB, 1.5TB and 2TB capacities with retail price of $99, $109.99, $129.99, $169.99 and $189.99 respectively.

The title pretty much says it all. It is no longer required to present cash or even your credit card to pay for your purchases. At least with the new Paytouch, all the buyer needs in order to pay is place their fingers on the Paytouch and it will scan the finger print. The fingerprint will be itself associated with the buyer’s card details or bank details and the payment will be made in a swift manner.

The company behind Paytouch intends to first introduce it to all gas stations as well as grocery stores all over Spain and then release it to the rest of the world. There is no current information regarding exact release date or price so stay tuned for updates.

The new headphone is called Inspiration Hublot headphone and these are definitely not for the faint hearted as far as the price is concerned. These new headphones have a folding design and are made of premium grade material to last many years of use. Sony just announced a new addition to the line of Cyber-Shot cameras, the Sony Cyber-Shot HX50V. The HX50V features a 30X optical zoom lens with a pocket size form factor. The Sony Cyber-Shot HX50V digital camera has a 20.4 mega pixel image sensor and Sony claims that the built-in processor does a great job in processing and saving photos on to external flash memory card.

The Sony Cyber-Shot HX50V also packs integrated GPS and WiFi connectivity that allows geo-tagging photos and also transferring photos to WiFi enabled devices such as smartphone, tablet etc. There are plenty of tweaking option within the camera so you can give a quick touch to your captured photos before sharing with others. The auto-focus on the Sony Cyber-Shot HX50V is quick and is claimed to be twice as fast as the precious version i.e. HX200V model.

Logitech has just announced its latest addition to the line of wireless headsets, the Logitech Wireless Headset H820e. The new Logitech wireless headset has been specifically designed for enterprise environment where noise free communication is essential and highly desired. The Logitech wireless headset H820e has noise cancellation as well as acoustic echo cancellation. Gigabyte has just announced the first USB speakers that are compatible with USB 3.0 interface. Currently there is very little information available about the new Gigabyte GP-S3000 USB 3.0 speakers but one thing is for which is that due to the higher mA of current that the USB 3.0 ports can provide, the new Gigabyte speakers will offer better and louder sound quality than currently available USB 2.0 powered speakers. The speakers have touch controls for volume, mute etc.

Currently there is only the above picture and slight piece of information available about the Gigabyte GP-S3000 speakers which shows that these USB 3.0 speakers will have a decent footprint and will be available in white and black colors. MSI has just announced the availability of its first ever 27-inch All-In-One gaming PC, the MSI Wind Top AG2712. The MSI AG2712 has a 27-inch Full HD LCD Panel with LED backlight. It has the optional 10-point multi-touch functionality and is running the latest Windows 8 operating system. The All-In-One gaming PC has a very decent set of hardware under the hook. It is powered by the 3rd generation quad-core Intel Core i7-3630QM processor with Turbo up to 3.4GHz. The PC can have a maximum ho 16GB DDR3 RAM. As far as the graphics are concerned, the MSI AG2712 has the powerful Nvidia GeForce GTX 670MX which has its own dedicated 3GB GDDR5 video graphics memory. The storage includes 3.5″ SATAIII 1TB 7200RPM HDD with optional 128GB SSD.

The Pantech Vega Iron is the latest phone introduced currently in the Korean market only. HTC finally announced its Ultimate Social Phone FIRST with promising social features never found in any other smartphones. A-Data has just added another of its product to the line of SSDs, the A-Data Enterprise SSD SX1000L. According to the source, the new Enterprise level solid state drives by A-Data will be made available in 100GB and 200GB sizes in 2.5″ form factor. These solid state drives pack MLC NAND Flash memory chips. These SX1000L SSDs will be able to achieve read and write speeds of up to 560MB/s and 340MB/s respectively. These SSDs will have SandForce SF-2281 controller and will comply with SATA 6.0 Gbps interface speeds. The A-Data SX1000L Enterprise SSDs will have MTBF of 1.5 million hours.

Unfortunately there is no information on release date and price but since the A-Data SX1000L SSDs are Enterprise level SSDs, the price will not be very low.
