Previous week we posted about the new 7 inch tablet coming out from Sprint and now Sprint has released data plans for the new Sprint ZTE Optik Tablet. For those who missed out, the ZTE Optik is a 7 inch Android tablet running Android 3.2 OS and the touchscreen has maximum supported resolution of 1280 x 800. The Sprint ZTE Optik tablet is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragron processor along with 1GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Other features of the ZTE Optik tablet include 5.0 MP rear facing and 2.0 MP front facing camera, WiFi, 3.5mm headphone jack, stereo speakers, microSD card slot etc. The Sprint ZTE Optik 7 inch tablet will also have access to a bundle of Sprint mobile Services such as Sprint TV, Sprint Music Plus, Sprint Navigation, Sprint Football etc.

Sony Ericsson Xperia active BILLABONG Edition For Sports Enthusiasts

The extreme sports enthusiasts can no longer complain as Sony Ericsson has just revealed of what is being called Sony Ericsson Xperia active BILLABONG edition phone. The new SE phone features IP67 rating and offers a high level of protection from dust and moisture. The phone has a 3 inch touchscreen display which is made scratch resistant. There is not plenty of info available on the Sony Ericsson Xperia active BILLABONG edition phone except for the fact that it has a 5.0 mega pixel rear facing camera (see photo), integrated FM radio with RDS, DLNA support, Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine etc. The phone runs Android OS of unknown version.

Pentax To Launch Mirrorless ILC Camera In March

Pentax one of a renowned name in making digital cameras has recently revealed a Mirrorless Interchangeable Lens Camera Pentax K-01. It would be the first mirrorless camera from Pentax after Olympus, Panasonic, Sony, Samsung. The interesting point to note is that the camera body design is created by the March Newson, an acclaimed and influential contemporary designer who in the past has designed furniture, household products, bicycles, cars, aircraft and yachts.

On the other hand looking at the technical aspect of the Pentax K-01 camera, it is found that it would be the first mirrorless camera which is made compatible with Pentax K-mount lenses used on existing Pentax DSLRs. That’s why it is called as “Semi Professional Camera” by the March Newson. According to the press release the Pentax K-01 is sporting:

Upcoming Samsung Android 4.0 Phone Photo Leaked

A press photo has been leaked on a social networking site showing an upcoming Samsung Android 4.0 Phone. Not much clear from the photo that which type of Samsung phone is this? Some people suggest that it could be the Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus as its appearance looks pretty much similar to the Galaxy S2 design.

Since it has been caught via leaked photo so its hard to find the actual phone specs but the assumptions made on behalf of the leaked image says that it runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and has Samsung TouchWiz display. The new Samsung ICS phone will be expected to revealed officially on the coming MWC where we will catch the specs in detail.

The Samsung NC110-Pororo is a 10.1 inch kid’s netbook that has been inspired by the famous cartoon character Pororo which is quite popular among kids in South Korea. The Samsung Kid’s netbook is powered by a dual-core Intel Atom processor and comes with pretty standard netbook configuration. The Samsung NC110-Pororo kid’s netbook is preloaded with up to 114 episodes of Pororo cartoon series, puzzles, plays all of Pororo.

The new Samsung NC110-Pororo Kid’s netbook will be made available in South Korea in first half of Feb 2012 for a price of $454 only.

Samsung recently revealed Samsung Galaxy S Advance phone which showed the existence of Galaxy S series smartphones which seemed to be disappear. The Galaxy S Advance is pictured at Philiphines where its price and release date has been revealed. It is also assigned a model number as Samsung I9070 and looks more like sibling or what so called the love child of Samsung Galaxy S and the Samsung Galaxy S2.

What makes this set different from other Galaxy sets is its curved display and may be is thickness measured as 9.7mm. On the other hand its hardware specification includes:

It seems like though, the new Samsung 4G smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S Blaze would be made available via none other than T-Mobile, thanks to the guys at U for bringing that up. There is not much info available as far as official specs and features are concerned except for the fact that the new Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G smartphone would have a Super AMOLED HD 720p resolution display and will be powered by a dual-core 1.5GHz processor. Another interesting feature is up to 42Mbps HSPA+ support and that is exactly what is expected from a 4G smartphone.

Sprint Offering ZTE Optik Budget Android Tablet Next Month

Fujitsu Stylistic M532 Android 4.0 Tablet Revealed

Fujitsu Stylistic M532 is the latest Android tablet from Fujitsu that is powered by Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor which alone is more than enough to catch a lot of attention. The Fujitsu Stylistic M532 tablet will be running Android 4.0 Ice Cream sandwich OS and what it seems like it has a 10 inch touchscreen display with HD 1280 x 800 resolution. Other features of the M532 Android tablet include 8.0 MP rear facing camera, 3.0 MP front facing camera, 16GB internal storage, WiFi, Bluetooth etc. More detailed specifications and features will be revealed in the coming days.

The Fujitsu Stylistic M532 Android tablet will have a price tag of 449 Euros or approximately $630 and is expected to be made available in Q1 2012.

Adam 2 Tablet From Notion Ink In Spotlight

With the recent partnership between Notion Ink and Texas Instruments we will very soon be seeing the Adam 2 Tablet in our hands powered by TI OMAP44xx processor and plenty of other bells and whistles from the same such as Phoenix audio amplifiers, Wi-Link 7.0 etc. According to the sources, the new Adam 2 tablet will be an improved version of the previously released Notion Ink Adam 2 tablet and will have increased powered for multitasking and will be running Android 4.0 OS (Ice Cream Sandwich).

Unfortunately there is no news on the price and release date of Adam 2 tablet so stay tuned for updates.
