Nokia now planning to introduce flexible user interface for mobile devices which would replace touchscreen display. According to Nokia the key points behind this prototype is to bring unbreakable devices that can be place anywhere and bring such interface that can use in cold weather when gloves are necessary to wear which makes difficult to use capacitive display.
The flexible display prototype idea is presented at Nokia World 2011 in London where its working was demonstrated. According to the demo it is worked by twisted, bent, bowed and tapped as demonstrated in the video given below instead of tapping, swiping, and pinching in today’s display. Nokia called it kinetic device and will hopefully be applied to all Nokia mobile devices in near future. Here is given a video which will explain you in better way.
