Aiming at the corporate as well as the educational sector, Canon has introduced its new XEED WUX4000 projector which utilizes Canon’s LCOS panel technology and delivers lattice-free images at 1920 x 1200 pixels WUXGA resolution. The new design of the Canon XEED projector allows a 16:10 aspect ratio which is perfectly compatible with PC and Mac notebooks.
The new Canon XEED WUX4000 projector comes with 4000 lumens of brightness and a contrast ratio of 1000:1 (see video below). It consists of three optical lenses; standard zoom lens, long zoom lens and fixed focus wide angle lens. Its smart design allows the Canon XEED projector to be used in Quiet mode which increases the life span of its lamp up to 4000 hours.
The Canon XEED WUX4000 projector has motorized vertical and horizontal lens shift along with motorized zoom and focus feature. It has a DVI, HDMI and a network port. Also accompanying is its own remote control which allows you to control the XEED projector. No information on the price of this new Canon projector has been revealed yet but we will soon find out as the new Canon XEED WUX4000 projector will be made available by the first quarter of 2011 in Europe.
