Amazon has just revealed its latest addition to the line of media devices, the Amazon Fire TV. Amazon Fire TV is a set top box for your HDTV which will enable you to stream up to 1080p content from a variety of sources.

Amazon Fire TV connects to your regular HDTV via HDMI cable and will have a access to subscription based services like Netflix, Hulu Plus, Pandora, Amazon Instant Video etc. According to Amazon, users will have access to over 200,000 TV episodes and movies.

It has also got built-in games which you can play with the remote control or with the separately sold Amazon Fire Game Controller. It currently has 100+ games plus Amazon plans to add a lot more to its Amazon Fire games database.
