Ziphius is an app-controlled aquatic drone that floats on water surface and is controlled by iOS or Android device. Sounds crazy but you can consider Ziphius as your surfing buddy that is controlled from the shore.
Ziphius is equipped with HD 1080p camera that tilts up to 160 degrees. The recorded 1080p video is then streamed to your tablet or Smartphone in 720p which can be as far as 300 feet away (no obstacles). It has 16GB microSD card inside.
With its own app, the stream videos can instantly be uploaded on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.
The Ziphius aquatic drone is driven by two brushless motors that offer better maneuverability and thanks to the ingenious design, Ziphius always remain in an upright position no matter how rough the conditions are.
The internal battery will last up to 1 hour of continuous operation. It also includes a flash light to take photos where there is not sufficient light in the water. It roughly weighs about 1.5 kg.
