LG Korea has just announced one of its upcoming CES 2014 items, the LG Pocket Photo 2. It is a portable pocket size photo printer that can take just 30 seconds to print a photo directly from your Smartphone running iOS or Android OS or even a device running Windows 8 operating system.
Like the previous LG Pocket Photo mobile photo printer, the Pocket Photo 2 does not use ink to print photo images instead it utilizes 2 x 3 inch Zink papers which will produce prints with 600 dpi of density. The LG Pocket Photo 2 is a lot slimmer than the previous versions as well.
The internal battery of the LG Pocket Photo 2 printer when fully charged will print up to 30 photos which is the maximum number of Zink photo papers that the portable printer accepts at a time. The device has a dedicated app for iOS and Android OS and supports NFC and Bluetooth.
The LG Pocket Photo 2 will start shipping mid-January 2014 with price yet to be announced. Now shipping at no extra cost via Amazon (details here).
